P\u00e2ques-en-Provence: A story of cycling and passion<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

To understand the origins of P\u00e2ques-en-Provence, we need to go back to the early days of French cycle touring and one of its most iconic figures: Paul de Vivie, better known as V\u00e9locio.<\/p>

A passionate cyclist and keen traveller, he saw cycling as a wonderful way to explore new places. In the early 20th century, his regular journeys to Provence gradually inspired gatherings of like-minded cyclists. <\/p>

Over the decades, these meetings became a cherished tradition. Today, P\u00e2ques-en-Provence, held under the auspices of the French Cycling Federation (FFV\u00e9lo)<\/a>, continues to bring together cyclists who share the same passion. <\/p>

The spirit of the event remains true to the values of cycle touring: enjoying the ride, discovering new landscapes and, above all, sharing memorable moments with fellow cycling enthusiasts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Following the 2026 edition in Sault, P\u00e2ques-en-Provence will take place in Vaison-la-Romaine<\/a> on sunday, 28 March 2027.<\/p>
