Where to see lavender in Vaucluse and Drôme?
1. The Plateau de Sault (Vaucluse)
The Plateau de Sault is the ideal place to admire lavender in flower in the Vaucluse. From mid-June to the end of July, the fields stretch as far as the eye can see. An enchanting setting just a stone’s throw from our Le Moulin de César residence in Vaison-la-Romaine.

2. Valréas and Grignan (Drôme Provençale)
Close to our accommodation Suze Luxe NatureThis area abounds in lavender fields in the Drôme Provençale. The landscape alternates between lavender, vineyards and hilltop villages.
🟣 Things to do: stroll through Grignan, visit a producer and take part in the Corso de la lavande in Valréas (early August).
3. Ferrassières and the Plateau d’Albion
At an altitude of 1000 m and just a few kilometers from our residence the Cloister of the DominicansFerrassières is famous for its PDO fine lavender. The village organizes an annual Provencal festival in early July.

Fine lavender grows between 800 and 1,200 m altitude. It is the most fragrant and the most sought-after in aromatherapy.
